The Opportunity:

As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality instruction and contributing to the academic success of students. This is a chance to make a meaningful impact in an international educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach up to 25 lessons per week, ensuring engaging and effective instruction.
  • Submit lesson plans, presentations, and other required teaching documents in a timely manner.
  • Maintain positive student behavior and discipline, communicating with SLT when necessary.
  • Continuously improve teaching quality and promote high academic standards.
  • Participate in academic meetings and contribute to departmental discussions.
  • Fulfill assigned evening duties as required by the school.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Prepare and grade examinations, analyze results, and produce performance reports.
  • Build and maintain positive communication with parents regarding student progress.
  • Plan and organize student activities, including open classes, performances, and campus events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support school events and student competitions.
  • Lead an extracurricular activity or club to enhance student engagement.
  • Support student admissions events and promotional activities.
  • Assist the University Counseling Department with recommendation letters and academic support.
  • Collaborate with the Pastoral Department on student development initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in relevant subject areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a related field.
  • PGCE, QTS, or U.S. teaching certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of international curriculum systems such as AL, AP, and IGCSE.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
  • Passion for student-centered education and innovative teaching methodologies.

Preferred

  • Experience in international or private school settings.
  • Familiarity with student-centered teaching approaches and technology integration.
