Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Foster a love of learning and support students in achieving outstanding academic outcomes.
- Continuously improve teaching and learning through the use of IRIS and regular drop-in feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a challenging and inspiring curriculum.
- Support the school’s values and contribute to the positive, inclusive culture.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
- Participate in professional learning and development opportunities.
- Engage in extra-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in English education.
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 – KS5.
- Proven ability to deliver effective and engaging lessons.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience working in a school environment with a focus on student achievement.
Preferred
- Experience with IRIS and regular drop-in feedback systems.
- Background in teaching within a high-performing department.
- Experience with pastoral support and student engagement.
- Knowledge of the context in which the school operates.
