Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the KS3/KS4 curriculum and support departmental improvement goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
  • Experience in teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English language and literature.
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development and leadership in a teaching team.
  • Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar.
  • Experience in using innovative teaching methods and technologies.
