As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to students across KS3, KS4 and Functional Skills. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with In Toto Ed policies, ensuring differentiation and student progression.
Maintain classroom discipline and set clear learning targets to support student achievement.
Keep detailed records of student progress and report regularly to parents.
Teach English to KS3, KS4 and Functional Skills students, while also supporting in other subjects.
Contribute to the Enrichment Programme and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching English at KS3 and above
Ability to deliver basic skills in other subjects
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being

Preferred

Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
Background in pastoral support or student welfare
Experience with curriculum development or enrichment programmes
Familiarity with alternative education provisions

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary range of £40,319 - £52,303 per annum
Term time only working hours (39 weeks including 5 inset days)
Fully funded Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Qualification
