As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to students across KS3, KS4 and Functional Skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with In Toto Ed policies, ensuring differentiation and student progression.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and set clear learning targets to support student achievement.
  • Keep detailed records of student progress and report regularly to parents.
  • Teach English to KS3, KS4 and Functional Skills students, while also supporting in other subjects.
  • Contribute to the Enrichment Programme and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and above
  • Ability to deliver basic skills in other subjects
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Background in pastoral support or student welfare
  • Experience with curriculum development or enrichment programmes
  • Familiarity with alternative education provisions

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £40,319 - £52,303 per annum
