Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative English lessons that meet GCSE standards and drive student achievement.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s leadership programme.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Support students in developing leadership skills through extracurricular and enrichment activities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience of delivering high-quality teaching that drives student achievement and engagement.
- Proven ability to teach to GCSE standard.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving positive outcomes for students.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred
- Experience of working in a faith-based or multi-faith setting.
- Experience of leading or contributing to leadership development programmes.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
- Experience of working in a disadvantaged community.
