Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative English lessons to students aged 11–18.
  • Support the long-term success of students by fostering a love of learning and academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s academic and extracurricular offerings.
  • Participate in wider academy activities and events that promote student engagement and development.
  • Provide pastoral care and mentorship to students, using strong people skills and empathy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Passion for student success and personal development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver innovative and engaging lessons.

Preferred

  • Experience with pastoral care and student mentorship.
  • Familiarity with international education programs or global learning initiatives.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TESL).
  • Background in extracurricular activities such as drama, music, or sport.
