Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the planning, delivery, and assessment of the English curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning practices.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Stay up to date with developments in English education and pedagogy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching English at a secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
- Experience of working in a school with a strong focus on student relationships and academic excellence.
