Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities
- Support the development and implementation of the English curriculum
- Lead and manage a team of English teachers as second in faculty
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure consistent attainment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development
- Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
- Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to raise student attainment
- Commitment to the school’s values and mission
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership role within a school
- Experience with pastoral care and student support
- Familiarity with Catholic education values
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment
