The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to cover a maternity leave for one year. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning and contribute to a dynamic, supportive teaching team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across the curriculum, including A level where possible.
- Support student learning through extra-curricular involvement and professional guidance.
- Work collaboratively with the English team to share best practices and resources.
- Continuously review and improve teaching methods based on student feedback and research.
- Use technology effectively to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s enrichment programs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in English education.
- Ability to teach English across key stages, including A level if possible.
- Strong commitment to student success and professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to support students and colleagues beyond the classroom.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching A level English.
- Background in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Experience with innovative teaching technologies.
