The Opportunity:

As an Estates Site Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving campus facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and welcoming for all. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and growing institution, contributing to its ongoing development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site maintenance and general upkeep to ensure facilities are in excellent condition
  • Assist in the smooth operation of daily site activities and support the Estates Department
  • Provide support in health and safety management across the campus
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of ongoing development and improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
  • Monitor and report on the condition of buildings and facilities
  • Support the management of resources and budgets related to site operations

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in site maintenance or a related field
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational institution or similar environment
  • Familiarity with building management systems or software
  • Experience with project management or planning initiatives
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental standards

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £23,817 - £26,183 with incremental progression
