The Opportunity:

As an Events and Creative Arts Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s creative departments and contributing to whole school and community events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the creative arts and committed to enhancing student learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching staff in the delivery of creative arts and events across the school.
• Provide technical and organisational input into whole school and community events, including photography and the production of marketing materials.
• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and management of equipment in creative departments such as music, drama, and art.
• Support students in curriculum-specific projects, displays, and the collation of exam portfolios.
• Maintain an inventory of resources and ensure stock is reordered as needed.
• Supervise small groups of students during creative activities and events.
• Offer in-class guidance and support to students in creative subjects.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other departments to enhance student learning and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with young people in a similar role.
• Strong organisational and technical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience in events management or creative arts production.
• Knowledge of photography and digital media production.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with educational software and tools.
• Experience in supporting students with creative project work.
