The Opportunity:

As an Exam Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the school’s examination process. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You will contribute to maintaining the high standards of the school's academic and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate exam schedules across multiple terms, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of exam entries, results, and related documentation.
  • Support the administration of exam results days, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students to provide clarity on exam procedures and timelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy in all examination-related activities.
  • Maintain a well-organised and up-to-date system for tracking exams and related administrative tasks.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to support the school's academic calendar.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external examination requirements and standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management abilities with the capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in an educational or administrative role, preferably within a school setting.
  • Basic knowledge of exam administration procedures and systems.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing exam schedules and results processes.
  • Familiarity with Quaker values and ethos.
  • Experience with educational software and administrative tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • A salary of £10,242.70 (£24,750 FTE).
  • Generous fee remission of up to 50% for the children of staff.
  • All food and refreshments provided during the working day.
