The Opportunity:

As an Exam Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics of public and internal examinations. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will ensure that exams run smoothly, supporting students and staff across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of exam entries, including securing papers and arranging access arrangements.
  • Coordinate seating plans and support the invigilator team to ensure a smooth examination process.
  • Maintain accurate records and meet strict national deadlines with precision.
  • Provide essential support to the wider school operations, ensuring a varied and dynamic workload.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and external exam boards.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of examination materials.
  • Monitor and report on exam-related data and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all exam regulations and policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in using administrative systems and software.
  • Experience in a school or educational environment, preferably in exam administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing large-scale examinations or similar administrative roles.
  • Knowledge of exam regulations and procedures.
  • Experience with supporting students with access arrangements.
  • Familiarity with using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Previous experience in a school setting with a focus on student welfare.
