The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Exam Invigilator to oversee and supervise examinations, ensuring the integrity and security of the process. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the standards and fairness of academic assessments at a school.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with examination guidelines and regulations during exams.
Monitor and supervise candidates to maintain a secure and fair environment.
Report any irregularities or concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities.
Assist with the distribution and collection of examination materials.
Maintain accurate records of examination procedures and incidents.
Support the smooth running of examination sessions across multiple sites.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and external examiners when necessary.
Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures for safeguarding and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Understanding of the examination process at GCSE and A-Level.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Experience in a supervisory or administrative role is an advantage.

Preferred

Previous experience in an educational or examination setting.
Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Experience with digital examination systems or software.
Knowledge of the school’s curriculum and assessment framework.
