The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Exam Invigilator to support the smooth running of public exams in March, April, and May 2026. This role is essential in ensuring a fair and secure examination environment for students. Candidates must be available for training on 24th March and during the specified exam hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth and secure administration of public exams
  • Monitor students to maintain exam integrity and prevent malpractice
  • Support students as required, including reading questions or scribing
  • Maintain accurate records and follow procedures for exam materials
  • Attend training/induction sessions and be available during specified exam periods
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff in a high-pressure environment
  • Adhere to all school policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Ensure punctuality and reliability during all assigned duties

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational or exam-related role
  • Experience with exam invigilation or similar responsibilities
  • Familiarity with school policies and procedures
  • Experience working with young people in a supportive environment
