The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure that examinations are conducted in a fair and secure environment. This is a vital role in supporting student achievement and maintaining the integrity of the assessment process. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during external and internal examinations
  • Ensure all exam conditions are followed accurately and consistently
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with students and staff
  • Report any irregularities or concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of examination materials
  • Support the Assistant Headteacher and Assessment Lead in managing the examination process
  • Uphold the school’s values of fairness, integrity, and confidentiality

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • No prior experience required; full training will be provided
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact calmly with students
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to exam regulations
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational or similar setting
  • Previous involvement in examination processes or invigilation
  • Knowledge of British values and school policies
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
