The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and fair administration of examinations. This is a casual role that supports the school’s examinations team during busy periods, helping to maintain the integrity of the assessment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with examination regulations and guidelines during invigilation sessions.
  • Monitor and supervise students during examinations to maintain a fair and secure environment.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of examination materials.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Support the Exams Team Leader in the coordination of examination periods.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and external examiners.
  • Adhere to the school’s policies on health and safety, confidentiality, and equality.
  • Assist with the collection and secure storage of examination documents after the session.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in an educational setting or similar role.
  • Commitment to upholding academic integrity and fairness.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an invigilation or examinations role.
  • Knowledge of examination procedures and regulations.
  • Experience working with young people in an educational context.
  • Familiarity with the school’s values of equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Compensation & Benefits:
