The Opportunity:

We are seeking committed Exam Invigilators to support students during critical exam periods. This role involves ensuring exams are conducted fairly and securely, with the flexibility to work during key times of the year. Ideal for those who enjoy working with young people and are keen to contribute to a school that values practical and industry-focused education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during exams to ensure compliance with exam regulations.
  • Distribute and collect exam papers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Act as a scribe or reader for students when required.
  • Maintain a calm and professional environment throughout the exam session.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to the relevant staff immediately.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are properly managed and stored.
  • Support the smooth running of exams by following all protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with students and other invigilators during exam periods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Willingness to undergo child protection screening and DBS checks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting.
  • IT competency and familiarity with digital tools.
  • Experience in exam invigilation or similar roles.
