The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the school’s examination process. You will supervise students during exams, prepare and manage exam rooms, and support students as a reader or scribe when needed. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable and passionate about contributing to a supportive and successful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during examinations in a secure and confidential environment.
  • Prepare and manage examination rooms according to documented procedures.
  • Distribute and collate examination papers accurately and efficiently.
  • Support students as a reader or scribe when required.
  • Follow all school policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Work flexibly with hours and days of work determined by examination schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to participate in regular professional development.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an examination or invigilation role.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Familiarity with school systems and examination processes.
