The Opportunity:
We are seeking dedicated Exam Invigilators to support the school during key exam periods throughout the year. This role involves ensuring the smooth and fair administration of examinations, while maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all candidates. The position is ideal for those who are flexible, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the standards of a high-performing institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute exam materials accurately and efficiently
- Supervise candidates in accordance with examination rules and regulations
- Ensure the exam environment remains orderly and secure
- Collect and securely store completed exam papers
- Report any irregularities or incidents to the Senior Examinations Officer
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of examination rooms
- Maintain detailed records of all examination-related activities
- Comply with all health and safety protocols during exams
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Flexibility to work during exam periods on a casual, daily supply basis
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and under supervision
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Preferred
- Previous experience in an educational or examination setting
- Familiarity with exam procedures and regulations
- Experience with DBS clearance or similar safeguarding processes
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly rate of £12.85
