The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the examination process and supporting students in achieving their best. This is a casual role offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to a school with a clear vision for growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the fair and proper conduct of examinations in accordance with school and examination board rules.
  • Monitor students during exams to prevent malpractice and maintain a secure and focused environment.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to the Examinations & Information Manager promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of examination materials and venues.
  • Support students with any queries or concerns during the examination period.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines during examination sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of examination procedures and any incidents.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient examination process.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in exam invigilation or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of examination regulations and procedures.
  • Experience with administering tests or assessments.
  • Flexibility to work as and when required.
