The Opportunity:

As an Examinations Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of internal and external examinations. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organised and committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the organisation and administration of exams, including GCSEs, A-Levels, vocational and professional qualifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of exam entries, results, and certificates.
  • Liaise with staff and invigilators to support students during exams.
  • Ensure secure handling and distribution of exam papers and materials.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry and report preparation.
  • Coordinate with awarding bodies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of exam materials prior to assessments.
  • Support the smooth running of invigilation processes and ensure all procedures are followed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in an administrative or office-based role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow procedures.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in education or exams support.
  • Familiarity with examination systems and procedures.
  • Experience in a college or educational setting.
