The Opportunity:
As an Examinations Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and administration of internal and external examinations. This role is essential in ensuring that all exams are conducted in a secure, efficient, and compliant manner, maintaining the integrity of the school’s academic processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the administration of internal and external examinations in accordance with awarding body rules.
- Ensure the secure and consistent handling of all examinations to maintain their integrity.
- Maintain accurate records and follow strict deadlines for all examination-related tasks.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure smooth examination processes.
- Provide support and guidance to staff and students throughout the examination period.
- Monitor and report on examination performance and compliance.
- Liaise with external awarding bodies and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Support the school in implementing improvements to examination procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in examination administration or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Experience in working within a school or educational institution.
