The Opportunity:

As an Examinations Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and administration of internal and external examinations. This role is essential in ensuring that all exams are conducted in a secure, efficient, and compliant manner, maintaining the integrity of the school’s academic processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the administration of internal and external examinations in accordance with awarding body rules.
  • Ensure the secure and consistent handling of all examinations to maintain their integrity.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow strict deadlines for all examination-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure smooth examination processes.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff and students throughout the examination period.
  • Monitor and report on examination performance and compliance.
  • Liaise with external awarding bodies and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Support the school in implementing improvements to examination procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in examination administration or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Experience in working within a school or educational institution.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of examination regulations and procedures.

Preferred

  • Experience with managing large-scale examinations.
  • Familiarity with awarding body requirements and compliance procedures.
