The Opportunity:
As an Exams and Data Manager, you will lead and manage the school’s examination process, ensuring compliance with national regulations and providing accurate data to support student progress. This role is essential in maintaining the quality of education and supporting both staff and students throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full examination process, including internal and external exams, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations.
- Coordinate exam timetables, schedules, and invigilation staff to deliver a high-quality service.
- Oversee the administration of exam results and provide detailed analysis to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and secure student data, ensuring compliance with data protection policies.
- Support school leadership and teachers with timely and accurate information.
- Implement and monitor data protection and security measures across all examination processes.
- Provide training and guidance to staff involved in the examination process.
- Ensure a flexible approach to meet the demands of the exam timetable and summer holiday periods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 qualification (A Levels or equivalent), including GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above.
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, including the creation and maintenance of spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing a team of people.
- Experience in education or supporting student learning.
- Current First Aid qualification or willingness to undertake training.
Preferred
- Experience in managing exams or data within an educational setting.
- Familiarity with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 examinations.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate (£16.35 per hour).
- Annualised, part-time working hours (37 hours per week, 41 weeks per year).
