The Opportunity:

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide essential support to members of the Principalship and Senior Management Team, enabling them to focus on the strategic management of the institution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is keen to contribute to the continued success of a school with a proven track record of outstanding achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support members of the Principalship and Senior Management Team with administrative and secretarial tasks.
  • Coordinate and facilitate a range of projects across the institution as directed by the Principalship.
  • Provide support to Central Administration for cross-college events and initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Use in-depth IT skills to manage and support various systems and processes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks and communications.
  • Assist with the management of documentation and records related to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Good general education with demonstrable skills in English and computer qualifications such as ECDL, ITQ or equivalent.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to use a range of software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with educational administration and management processes.
  • Experience with project coordination or event management.
  • Knowledge of further education or higher education systems and practices.
