The Opportunity:

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide essential support to the High Mistress, ensuring the smooth delivery of priorities across the school. This role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse and fast-paced workload with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the High Mistress in managing a wide range of administrative and operational tasks
  • Coordinate and manage a complex and dynamic schedule, including meetings, events, and communications
  • Act as a key liaison between the High Mistress and various departments and support staff across the school
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to support the school’s mission and vision
  • Provide discreet and professional support in handling sensitive and confidential matters
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the school community
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources and systems to support the High Mistress’s priorities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Experience in a senior administrative or executive support role
  • Strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to manage a diverse and fast-paced workload

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational or school setting
  • Familiarity with school operations and governance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Experience in a leadership or senior support role
