The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Executive Headteacher to lead the creation and development of a new school in Singapore. This is a unique opportunity to shape the vision and culture of a pioneering institution, offering the English National Curriculum through IGCSE and A Level pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the school’s academic and pastoral programme.
  • Recruit and build a strong founding team of staff and faculty.
  • Shape the school’s vision, mission, and ethos in alignment with Wycombe Abbey values.
  • Oversee the transition from the initial campus to the permanent campus in Hougang.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including parents, students, and the local community.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality education rooted in a bilingual, values-driven approach.
  • Drive strategic planning and operational growth in a start-up environment.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, integrity, compassion, and courage.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a senior leader in British or British-style international schools.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience in school development, expansion, or start-up environments.
  • Deep understanding of the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/A Level pathways.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and stakeholder groups.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a new school or campus launch.
  • Background in bilingual education or international curricula.
  • Familiarity with the Wycombe Abbey ethos and values.
