Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the Early Years team, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Primary and other members of the leadership team.
- Develop and implement engaging, child-centered early years curriculum.
- Support the wider curriculum development, including the Forest School program.
- Take a proactive role in the extra-curricular life of the school.
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Promote a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, resilience, and curiosity.
- Ensure the use of technology and innovative pedagogy in the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in an Early Years setting.
- Strong commitment to the school’s values of nurturing, challenging, and inspiring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Experience in behaviour for learning and creating a positive classroom environment.
- Recent experience in early years education.
Preferred
- Experience in a collaborative, all-through school setting.
- Knowledge of Forest School provision and outdoor learning.
- Experience with curriculum development and integration.
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Experience in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
