The Opportunity:
As an EYFS Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting young learners through a nurturing and stimulating early years environment, contributing to the school's focus on individual child development and holistic education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of children aged 3-5 through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Create and implement a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate with the EYFS team to ensure continuity and progression in children's learning.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence in young learners.
- Participate in regular meetings with parents to discuss child progress and support needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Early Years Practitioner with relevant professional qualifications.
- Experience working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to child welfare and safeguarding.
Preferred
- Experience in a bilingual or multilingual setting.
- Knowledge of outdoor education and play-based learning.
- Experience with inclusive practices for diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with outdoor risk assessment and safety protocols.
