The Opportunity:

As an EYFS Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting young learners through a nurturing and stimulating early years environment, contributing to the school's focus on individual child development and holistic education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of children aged 3-5 through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Create and implement a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the EYFS team to ensure continuity and progression in children's learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence in young learners.
  • Participate in regular meetings with parents to discuss child progress and support needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Early Years Practitioner with relevant professional qualifications.
  • Experience working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to child welfare and safeguarding.

Preferred

  • Experience in a bilingual or multilingual setting.
  • Knowledge of outdoor education and play-based learning.
  • Experience with inclusive practices for diverse learning needs.
  • Familiarity with outdoor risk assessment and safety protocols.
