The Opportunity:

We are seeking an EYFS Teacher to join our team and take over a maternity cover position, with the potential to transition into a long-term contract. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early years education and committed to supporting young learners in a vibrant international setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality EYFS education to a Reception class, ensuring a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Support the development of young learners through creative, engaging, and inclusive teaching methods.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students to foster a positive and supportive school community.
  • Plan and implement lessons that align with the UK curriculum and accommodate ESL learners.
  • Participate in the school's extra-curricular programs and contribute to the overall school culture.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
  • Support the school’s mission of promoting critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree or qualification in education or a related field.
  • A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of two years’ teaching experience, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse groups of students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred

  • Experience working with ESL students.
  • Familiarity with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Experience in a school environment that values extra-curricular involvement.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support the school’s growth and development.
