The Opportunity:
We are seeking an EYFS Teacher to deliver a high-quality, engaging curriculum that supports the development of young learners. This role is central to fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a broad, balanced and engaging EYFS curriculum in line with school schemes of work.
- Plan and deliver stimulating, well-resourced and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour using the school’s rewards and sanctions appropriately.
- Provide regular feedback to pupils and support them in acting on it.
- Assess, record and report on pupils’ progress effectively, using data to inform planning.
- Support SEN and EAL pupils in line with school policies.
- Liaise closely with parents through meetings, written communication and reports.
- Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes in line with duty rotas.
- Promote courtesy, good manners and high standards of hygiene.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree /PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification /Qualified Teacher Status.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum or EYFS.
- A proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management and pastoral skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with EAL learners.
- An understanding of the expectations of UK independent and international schools.
