The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to children aged 3-5 years.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that supports academic and personal development.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic development of young learners.
- Foster inclusive practices that celebrate diversity and promote equality.
- Maintain strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of teaching and learning.
- Support the school’s mission and values through daily interactions and teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in an Early Years setting or newly qualified teacher with a passion for early years education.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience in a school setting, particularly within a Church of England school.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Familiarity with the school’s values and vision.
