The Opportunity:

As a Finance Administrator, you will support the school’s financial operations and ensure compliance with financial procedures. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in education while working in a supportive and driven team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process financial information accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the Finance Officer/Manager in maintaining robust financial systems and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and review purposes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Provide timely and clear financial updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the overall financial management of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in a financial or administrative role, preferably within education.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and financial software.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or academy setting.
  • Familiarity with education-specific financial processes.
  • Understanding of alternative provision and special educational needs.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
