The Opportunity:
As a Finance Administrator, you will support the school’s financial operations and ensure compliance with financial procedures. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in education while working in a supportive and driven team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process financial information accurately and efficiently.
- Support the Finance Officer/Manager in maintaining robust financial systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and review purposes.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Provide timely and clear financial updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the overall financial management of the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in a financial or administrative role, preferably within education.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and financial software.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or academy setting.
- Familiarity with education-specific financial processes.
- Understanding of alternative provision and special educational needs.
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
