Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver timely and accurate management reporting to support decision-making across the school.
- Provide line management for a team of two members of staff.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team on financial matters and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and financial best practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the school.
- Monitor and report on financial performance regularly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with financial software and accounting systems.
- A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or academy environment.
- Knowledge of educational budgeting and financial planning.
- Experience with financial reporting and management information systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
