The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Food and Nutrition lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Design and implement interactive and hands-on learning experiences.
- Support students in developing practical skills through real-world food-related projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and promote student success.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure learning outcomes are met.
- Encourage creativity and critical thinking in students through innovative teaching methods.
- Stay up to date with developments in food science and nutrition education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- At least 1 year of teaching experience
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field
- Experience designing and implementing schemes of work
- Passion for fostering creativity and student engagement
