The Opportunity:

As a Food Preparation and Nutrition Technician, you will support the Creative Arts Department, particularly the Food & Nutrition team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for practical work and a commitment to fostering creativity and learning in a vibrant school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage all practical resources and materials required for Food & Nutrition lessons.
  • Support students of all ages in a safe and engaging environment.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed during food preparation activities.
  • Collaborate with department staff to plan and deliver practical sessions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace at all times.
  • Assist with the storage, labeling, and inventory management of food and equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support to students during practical sessions.
  • Keep accurate records of all practical activities and student progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in food preparation and nutrition within an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with students of all ages.

Preferred
