As a Food Preparation & Nutrition Teacher (Part-Time), you will play a key role in inspiring students at KS3 and KS4 to develop their knowledge and skills in food and nutrition. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Food Preparation & Nutrition lessons to students at KS3 and KS4.
- Develop and implement engaging, innovative teaching methods that promote student learning and achievement.
- Support students in preparing for assessments and examinations.
- Encourage participation in extracurricular activities related to food and nutrition.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inspiring curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of food and nutrition.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Food Preparation & Nutrition.
- Relevant subject knowledge and experience teaching at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and safety.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with extracurricular activities or enrichment programs.
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and resources.
