Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality Food & Nutrition lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Utilise modern teaching technologies and self-directed learning frameworks to enhance student engagement.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Food & Nutrition or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Food & Nutrition to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Food & Nutrition.
  • Ability to implement self-directed learning and modern teaching methods.

Preferred

  • Experience with online teaching platforms and video conferencing tools.
  • Background in technology-enhanced learning environments.
  • Experience in collaborative teaching and global educational communities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
