Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Food Technology lessons to students across KS3–KS4
- Lead curriculum development, assessment strategies, and subject planning
- Support and mentor other Food Technology teachers
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and achievement
- Work closely with the Food Technician to prepare and manage resources effectively
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Food Technology experience
- Experience teaching across KS3–KS4
- Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
- Ability to lead and develop a subject area
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum leadership or subject lead roles
- Familiarity with TLR 2A responsibilities
- Experience with practical Food Technology teaching and resource management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
