The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Foundation Stage Teacher to join a dynamic and growing school community in Dubai South. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners while working in a supportive and innovative educational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping early childhood education at the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging, and creative lessons to Foundation Stage students.
- Plan and implement a curriculum that aligns with the National Curriculum for England and UAE Ministry of Education standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
- Support the development of students’ social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community through regular communication and participation in extra-curricular activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A BEd or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching primary classes, with a focus on the Foundation Stage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Commitment to the core values of Grow, Flourish, and Discover.
- A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
Preferred
- Experience with the NQT, QTS, or iPGCE programmes.
- Familiarity with British Schools Overseas (BSO) standards and accreditation.
- Experience in a multicultural and international educational setting.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and community-based events.
