Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective French lessons across all key stages.
  • Support the department in achieving excellent student outcomes and raising standards.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement departmental strategies and improve learning experiences.
  • Provide clear impact through consistent and high-quality teaching and assessment.
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in French education.
  • Strong subject knowledge of French, covering all age and ability ranges.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate students.
  • Experience with IRIS Connect and a willingness to embrace regular feedback.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on pastoral care and student well-being.
  • Background in a school with a successful Post 16 provision.
  • Experience in a school that values cultural capital and extra-curricular enrichment.
  • Experience in a school with a proven track record of improved outcomes and Ofsted recognition.
