The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join our Languages Department and deliver high-quality French lessons to Key Stage 3 students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about language education and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective French lessons to Key Stage 3 students
- Plan and prepare lessons that meet curriculum requirements
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Support the development of language skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Contribute positively to the school community
- Promote cultural awareness through language learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
- Encourage a growth mindset and student well-being
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong command of the French language with excellent communication skills
- Relevant qualifications in French or Modern Foreign Languages (degree or equivalent)
- Experience teaching French at Key Stage 3 level
- Ability to engage young learners with enthusiasm and creativity
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
