Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality French lessons that align with the school’s academic standards and curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and progress.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s leadership and character development programmes.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
  • Support the school’s mission by inspiring students to become confident, responsible, and socially aware leaders.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven ability to teach French to GCSE standard.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for education.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and implementing leadership and character-building initiatives.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching practices and supporting diverse student needs.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience in a high-performing school environment or multi-academy trust.
