Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality French lessons to students across key stages
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the French curriculum
  • Support students in achieving the best possible outcomes in examinations and assessments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive and stimulating learning environment
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, including trips and enrichment opportunities
  • Prepare and assess student work in line with the school’s high standards
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to departmental planning and development
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree in French or a related subject
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching French at secondary level
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching ECTs (Early Career Teachers)
  • Willingness to contribute to school trips and enrichment activities
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation
  • Familiarity with using technology in the classroom
