Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality French lessons to students across key stages
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the French curriculum
- Support students in achieving the best possible outcomes in examinations and assessments
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive and stimulating learning environment
- Participate in extracurricular activities, including trips and enrichment opportunities
- Prepare and assess student work in line with the school’s high standards
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to departmental planning and development
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students, parents, and colleagues
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree in French or a related subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience in teaching French at secondary level
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Preferred
- Experience in teaching ECTs (Early Career Teachers)
- Willingness to contribute to school trips and enrichment activities
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation
- Familiarity with using technology in the classroom
