The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and organised Front Office Administrator to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the school's mission and providing a high standard of service to students, parents, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently and professionally.
- Coordinate and manage school events, meetings, and appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student and staff information.
- Support the administrative team in the efficient running of the school office.
- Provide a friendly and welcoming service to all visitors and parents.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of school communications and documents.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Liaise with external agencies and organisations as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in an administrative or front office role.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Preferred
- Experience with school management systems or similar software.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Experience in a school environment with a strong focus on student welfare.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
