Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in achieving academic and vocational success through tailored guidance and mentorship.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in design or related fields.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Strong understanding of furniture design principles and practical skills.
  • Commitment to delivering a curriculum that links learning to real-world applications.
  • Experience in a technical or vocational education setting is an advantage.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or mentoring within a UTC or similar institution.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design software and tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in project-based learning or work-related learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and employers.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of new curriculum initiatives.
