GCSE Drama Tutor needed in Epsom with experience in SEN support.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced GCSE Drama Tutor to support students in Epsom. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in SEN support and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential through drama education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective GCSE Drama tuition to students in Epsom
  • Support students with special educational needs with tailored learning strategies
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations through structured and interactive lessons
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to update them on student progress
  • Follow the Bright Heart Approach and adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with education consultants to ensure the highest quality of tuition
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and learning outcomes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong subject knowledge in GCSE Drama
  • University qualification or studying towards one and A-levels
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Current Enhanced DBS certificate with a check of the children’s barred list
  • 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference

Preferred

  • Experience with the Bright Heart Approach
  • Previous experience in SEN tuition or teaching
  • Passion for drama and the performing arts
  • Flexibility to work both in-person and online
