The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated General Teacher to support students in Key Stages 3 and 4 as they work towards achieving their full potential. This role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals who are passionate about inspiring young minds and delivering outstanding academic results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that promote student engagement and academic achievement.
  • Support students in developing the skills and knowledge required for successful GCSE outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and improve the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to the effective use of the Pupil Premium.
  • Participate in the school’s extensive co-curricular programme and support student development beyond the classroom.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s core values of resilience, ambition, and kindness.
  • Implement the Positive Discipline behaviour system to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently in training with successful placement(s) at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong knowledge of current developments in education and the effective use of the Pupil Premium.
  • Ability to translate vision into practical teaching strategies.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality lessons and achieving positive student outcomes.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in co-curricular or pastoral support roles.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student examination results.
  • Commitment to continued professional development and school improvement.
