Generalist Teacher needed for 1 FTE fixed term position with Mathematics focus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students across the 11-16 age range, ensuring a high standard of learning and progress.
- Deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical understanding.
- Support the development and implementation of the school’s Mathematics curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attainment.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a safe and inclusive school environment.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and take responsibility for student progress.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Mathematics.
- Knowledge of current teaching methodologies and assessment strategies.
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
