Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of an innovative and impactful Geography curriculum.
  • Support and mentor colleagues within the Humanities department to ensure consistent teaching standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and other subject leads to drive school-wide improvement.
  • Inspire and motivate students through passionate and effective teaching.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement in learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.
  • Experience in curriculum development and leadership within a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to student success and high standards of teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
  • Background in curriculum design or assessment strategies.
  • Experience with cross-curricular collaboration.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
